Name inspired byĀ Season 1, Episode 1 (The Pilot) - The phone is ringing while Michel ignores it with a look of disdain. Lorelai walks by saying āMichel, the phone?ā to which he replies āmhm, it ringsā. Coming back in the other direction, Lorelai asks him to answer the phone and says: āNope. People are particularly stupid today - I canāt talk to any more of them.ā š
