General Trinket Care

Our products are made from a variety of mediums, including: resin, plastic, glass, acrylic, metal, varnish, and more. While all painted products are sealed, they are still firstly art pieces, and as such it is not recommended to submerge them in water, or expose to excessive temperatures. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Wearing trinkets in the shower, swimming pool, or a hot tub/jacuzzi
  • Leaving trinkets in the car during extreme hot or cold temperatures
  • Using ultrasonic jewelry cleaners that require submersion in water/cleaning solution

If necessary, trinkets should be wiped clean with a dry microfiber towel. Water and mild soap/detergent should be used only if necessary. Do not use other chemicals or cleaning products on hand-crafted jewelry/trinkets as they can damage the finish or create cloudiness.

Exposure to blunt/sharp objects, such as a keychain kept on a large ring of many metal keys, may cause damage to the protective coating over time.

Earring Care

As with any new jewelry, it is recommended to sanitize the metal (hoop, ear-wire, stud) with rubbing alcohol before wearing. Avoid getting rubbing alcohol on any hand-painted charms as it can cause cloudiness of the protective finish. Water and a mild detergent can be used if rubbing alcohol is unavailable, but do not submerge the earrings in water.

All earrings are made using hardware that is nickel-free - but should any irritation occur, discontinue use immediately.
